While on hospital staff Dr. Singer has trained numerous physicians in advanced foot surgery. Having spent the last 20 years as an expert in the treatment of athletes and being a supervisor and volunteer at the New York City marathon he has become a highly respected member of the sports medicine field. Dr. Singer is also affiliated with prestigious surgical centers. Another area of his expertise is the treatment of dancers. Dr. Singer greatly appreciates the enormous stress dancing places on the feet and ankles and is most often able to keep dancers performing without interruption. The initial appointment is usually spent conducting a thorough examination. It includes clinical examination of the foot and leg, x-rays as indicated and a medical history. The more comprehensive the examination the more intelligently we can diagnose and treat. No matter how much time is spent on your examination, every effort will be made to relieve you of discomfort on this first visit.

Disorders commonly treated in our office are: Fractures, sprains, infections, arch disorders running and other sports related injuries, tumors, and foot deformities which may require surgical attention such as: Bunions, hammertoes, corns etc.

1. Following directions and advice from us.  This is vital in the treatment of your feet.
2. Follow instructions for home care.
3. If you must change an appointment please call this office 24 hours in advance so that we can utilize this time for another patient.
4. Discuss definite arrangements with the Podiatric Assistant for the payment of fees.
